My wife and I before our wedding in 2020

Hi, I'm Tyler! I'm a filmmaker, freelance videographer, and film editor/colorist.

When I moved to Utah in 2018, the first thing I bought for myself was a camera. The second thing I bought was a computer to edit my videos. Filmmaking has been part of my life since I was 10 years old.

In earning my Digital Cinema Production degree from UVU, I learned techniques and processes used to make big-budget Hollywood films and earned multiple certifications to get jobs in LA, New York, or anywhere else movies are made. Now, I use these skills to craft not just wedding videos, but wedding films, as well as other freelance projects from documentaries to artistic performances.

FAQ

What is your pricing?

For wedding day coverage I charge $700 and $200 for a First Look video. You can bundle these for $850. An extra charge will be added for multi-day weddings or for travel if the wedding is more than 50 miles away.

For events or other freelance work, the price is $50/hour for filming (includes two camera recording) and $2/minute of finished content for editing. Pricing may also be negotiated as a flat rate per project.

What makes you different from all the other wedding videographers?

I consider myself a wedding filmmaker rather than a videographer. Videos capture events and allow you to relive them. Films convey emotion and tell a story through images and sound. My specialty is anamorphic filmmaking. An anamorphic lens is a special type of lens that captures a wider field of view than a typical lens. Many videographers try to imitate this effect by cropping the top and bottom off of their videos, but I prefer to use the actual equipment and techniques developed in Hollywood.
